Christmas themed swap

Our next team swap is a Christmas theme.

For the cards this time, I used the countdown to Christmas stamp set, but used the stamparatus to stamp the branches in a circle. I used the shaded spruce colour for this.  I then cut a circle from cherry cobbler using the stitched dies, and an oval from whisper white before stamping the bird on a branch in cherry cobbler.  Quite a simple but effective card.  I layered the centre pieces up on foam pads.

Sunday 1 September 2019

Our team  leader for “Bloomin buds” set us a challenge last month to do some men’s cards. These were mine.   If you want to purchase the stamps to make your own, contact me for further information.

Another couple of lovelies

Here i have made a card and covered a note book with the lovely affectionaly yours dsp again. I have also used some in colours from last year the cucumber crush.
I have used the lovely 3D flowers again from the botanical builder die set.

Just love this so vibrant.

Last scrapbook page

This one is My favourite as the colours are so bright. This one I have "CASE'd" from one I saw recently but used the new pop of pink designer series paper. Melon mambo, black and white only.

Flowers stamped and cut out by hand.

Another scrapbook page

Another scrapbook page.  This time using affectionately yours designer series paper cut into strips and used both sides. Have stamped the background with timeless textures stamp with crumb cake. Stamped a few flowers from the love and affection stamp set, and fussy cut these out. Added a few gold sequins for good measure.
Sponged edge of papers and page with crumb cake  to give distressed finish.

Hand stamped and cut flower

Love this stamp!  Used to stamp the background in crumb cake and also distressed the edge of the page with crumb cake.

Added a few gold sequins for a bit of glam.

Inspired by paper

I was inspired by this paper when I made this scrapbook page :

I have stamped the background using the new in colours with the playful backgrounds stamps.

I have cut out two of the long swirl strip and layered under the photo mat.
I have used the reverse of the paper in the top photo under the black strip.

I embossed a flower and cut it out before highlighting some parts with ink.

I'm quite pleased with the results, although I think the dapper denim might be a bit strong.
